Jaclyn Boyle,
Preschool Director
Mrs. Boyle is our director and joined our staff in the spring. She has fifteen years of experience teaching pre-k thru 3rd grade. She also has experience writing science and STEM curriculum for Virtual Virginia. She has been a crew coach with many different rowing programs, in many different states, from a young age. Jacki has her undergraduate degree from Rutgers University and her master’s degree in educational leadership from St. Elizabeth University. Her three children have recently attended preschool here and her family attends Holy Trinity Church.
Heather Francis
Mrs. Francis brings a deep love for early childhood education to our preschool as the lead teacher for our three-year-old classrooms. She holds a degree in Early Childhood Education and has spent many years working with children in various settings—including as a teacher, children’s ministry director, and at special needs camps. Heather is married to her husband Andrew, and they have three children. She is passionate about connecting with little ones through play, hands-on learning, and music and movement—making each day joyful and engaging.
Maureen Skaja
Mrs. Skaja is our preschool aide. Before coming to Greenwich Preschool she was a preschool assistant at Grace Children’s Learning Center in Manassas for 13 years. Maureen has an Associate in Applied Science Degree in Travel and Tourism from Northern Virginia Community College. She is a member of Holy Trinity Church. Maureen and her husband have a son and a daughter, and a dog named Dakota. In her time away from preschool, Mrs. Skaja enjoys car rides, going for hikes, and spending time with her family.
Jill Smith
Mrs. Smith teaches the 5 day classes for 4-year-olds at Greenwich Preschool. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from Radford University and many years of experience as a volunteer in preschool and elementary school. Jill is TESOL certified and teaches English online to elementary age children. She and her husband have 3 children and are members of Greenwich Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Smith is an animal lover and shares her home with 2 dogs and 2 cats. Outside of the classroom, she enjoys spending time with her family and cheering on her kids at sporting events.
Greenwich Preschool staff must meet requirements set by the Virginia Department of Education including:
CPR/First Aid training, annual physical, background checks, and child abuse and neglect training.
