Yard Sale to Benefit Our Mission Fund, Saturday
May 6 (7:00am-1:00pm)
We need donations and volunteers! Donations can be dropped off beginning TOMORROW. Drop off times are: Mon-Fri (9:00am-4:00pm), and Tues & Fri evening from 5:00-8:00pm. We can accept any items except adult clothing, large appliances, televisions and mattresses. In addition to the thousands of items for sale on Saturday, we’ll also be selling hotdogs, hamburgers, brats, baked goods, sodas, etc. Please contact the office at firstname.lastname@example.org or 703.754.7933 with any questions or to volunteer.

The Session has called a congregational meeting to be held during the Sunday School hour in the sanctuary. The purpose of this congregational meeting is to elect the 2017 Congregational Nominating Committee and open conversation on the life on the church. Sunday School will be in session as usual for children during the meeting.
Women Without Spouses

New Women’s Bible Study Forming
We would like to begin a new women’s Bible study on the 2nd & 4thTuesday evenings from 7:00-8:30pm at Greenwich. To pilot the study, we’d like to gather interested folks twice this Spring on May 23 and June 6. We may do something fun over the summer and then we’ll begin with a regular study on September 12. Second Saturday Group
We will not meet this month, as the second Saturday is Mother's Day weekend and many folks have plans for family events. We will meet again on June 10th for a picnic at the home of Sarah and Pierre Bouscaren. Happy Mother's Day to all!

April 30, Julio & Ana Martinez from Shadai Church
Meet and learn from our new mission partners who are serving spanish-speaking communities in the Manassas area in partnership with local churches. Their focus is “the hungry, unemployed, poorly housed, but spiritually thirsty immigrants…” Through food & clothing distribution projects, personal counseling, home groups, family-life teaching, and relational evangelism, they are building a community of new believers, Shadai Church, in Georgetown South.
