“The Beatitudes”

Matthew 5:3-10

“Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.

Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth.

Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled.

Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy.

Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.

Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God.

Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness,

for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.”

Each year the congregation (in partnership with the Congregational Nominating Committee) enjoys the privilege of electing a new class of church leaders from the membership. Potential nominees for deacon and elder may be recommended using the forms located on the table in the lobby.

Pictures for Online Pictorial Directory

We are excited to have ELEXIO, our online church directory. We are making sure that we have family and individual photos so this can be a great resource for one another as we grow. If you have a digital photo for your family that you would like to submit, email to:   joyyates@greenwichpres.org. See flyers in lobby for more info on photos and signing up for ELEXIO if you have not done so already. Any questions? Contact Joy Yates at 703-754-7933.
