Parents

A look at our Adult Discipleship offerings shows that Greenwich Church highly values education and faith formation through Bible study programs. That emphasis continues for our kids, and we offer plenty of opportunities for them to grow and learn in our children's ministry and youth ministry. However, we also recognize that the most powerful opportunity for developing faith in children is not at the church building but in the home. We believe that parents are meant to be the most important influence in their children’s spiritual lives. So if you have

kids, we want to encourage and equip you with tools to build faith and character in the hearts of your children.

We also offer classes and seminars on parenting to encourage Biblical faithfulness, thoughtful and wise discipline, and regular spiritual conversation in the home. There is regular opportunity for fellowship among parents of young children through our S.O.S Group (Saving Our Sanity). Parents of youth participate in family nights and meet informally for encouragement and prayer during youth group programs. Greenwich truly sees ourselves as a church family, and our hope is to make Christian parenting a natural part of the way we live together in community, both with other families and with our children.

Visionary Parenting – Encouraging the reformation of family discipleship and equipping parents to pass faith and character to their children and grandchildren.

D6 Family – Curriculum and resources to encourage parents to take everyday opportunities to impress God’s Word upon the hearts of their children.

Family Time – Helping families to teach Christian principles and values in the home using fun, intentional, spiritual lessons.

HomeWord – Educating, equipping, and encouraging parents and churches to build God-honoring families from generation to generation.
