Don grew up in Northern Virginia, and returned to the area to serve Greenwich as Pastor in 2001.  Along with his wife and children, Don has served churches in Kansas and Colorado   

Education: B.S. (Systems Engineering) University of Virginia, M.Div.  Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary

Vision for Ministry: To cultivate the character of Jesus Christ in the lives of men and women, and through them, in the lives of children.  

  

Eric Beckman - Associate Pastor

Prior to accepting the call to Greenwich in 2007, Eric served as a youth minister and an interim pastor in his home state of North Carolina. Eric and his wife Becky spend most of their free time chasing their three boys.   

Education: BS in Family and Child Development from Virginia Tech; MDiv from Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary in Charlotte, NC   

Vision for Ministry: To proclaim the message of new life in Jesus Christ and encourage the church to respond to God’s call in mission to the world.

 

Joy Yates - Director of Children’s Ministry

Joy and her family have been members of Greenwich since 2000.  Joy grew up in the Presbyterian Church and has actively been involved in Christian Education for many years.  

Education: B.S. in Human Services, Old Dominion University, Norfolk, Virginia. 

Vision for Ministry: Joy’s passion is to share the love of Jesus Christ with the children, and show them how awesome it is to love God, to praise God and to serve God.

 

Derrick Trump - Director of Youth Ministry

Derrick moved to Northern Virginia from the Pittsburgh area in the summer of 2010 when he accepted his call to youth ministry at Greenwich. His wife, Jessi, serves alongside him in between working towards her master’s degree in counseling. Both are passionate about guiding youth in their relationship with Christ and understanding of God’s purpose in their lives.

Education: B.A. in Christian Education from Westminster College, New Wilmington, PA.

Vision for Ministry: To equip and encourage families to become disciples after God’s own heart. Through the teaching and study of scripture, outreach, fellowship, and prayer, we seek to provide youth with an intentional community in which they can be challenged to grow in their relationship with Christ and to share his love with the world.

  

Lon Quinones - Director of Music Ministries

Lon served as Director of Music and Organist in churches in Manassas and Winchester, VA, before settling at Greenwich.

Education: Bachelor of Arts, International Studies, George Mason University; Bachelor of Music, Church Music, Shenandoah University; Master of Music, Church Music, Shenandoah University; Master of Music, Choral Conducting, Shenandoah University.  

 

  Vision for Ministry: Music is a fair and glorious gift of God! The music ministry at Greenwich Presbyterian Church seeks to glorify God in all that we do and to uplift and encourage the congregation in song.  God has blessed Greenwich with many talented musicians.  We endeavor to use and develop our musical gifts in service to God and others.   

 

  

 

Amy Grigsby - Treasurer

Amy and her husband, Mike, have been members of Greenwich since 2007.  She was born and raised in Chambersburg, PA.  Shortly after college graduation she moved to Virginia and has remained ever since. 

 Education:  B.S. Public Relations & Journalism, Bradley University Peoria, IL (1982)  

Vision for Ministry:  To create positive working relationships with my church family.  To worship God and enjoy him forever.

Maria, along with her husband Joe, has been a member of Greenwich since 2005. Maria has two sons, Adam and Daniel.

Education: BFA Communications, Pacific Lutheran University, Tacoma, WA

Vision for Ministry:   To support the pastors and staff so that they can focus all their efforts on their area of ministry.

Marian has taught at Greenwich Presbyterian Preschool since 1991. Mrs. Rood has a Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education. She has also taught Sunday school and Bible School at Greenwich.

 

Elaine Arbus- Director of Operations

Elaine joined the preschool staff in the fall of 2005 and is our teacher of four year olds. She is a member of Greenwich Presbyterian Church and has taught Bible School at Greenwich. Elaine has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business with a minor in Child Psychology.
