Fellowship

At Greenwich we take fellowship seriously.  We like to come together and whether we are doing it in small groups or large, we take time to play, eat, sing and generally enjoy each other's company. Between Sunday Services, you will find friends around the coffee pot chatting about the week's events.  Throughout the year you will find special events such as talent shows, pancake breakfasts and congregational dinners.

If you are looking for a more specific group of people to meet and play with, look for some of  the smaller groups at Greenwich.  The Youth Group encompasses all young people in 6 -12th grades and meets regularly for fellowship. The Second Saturday Group is an adult group that gathers once a month for dinners, shows or other special events.  There is regular opportunity for fellowship among parents of young children through our S.O.S. Group (Saving Our Sanity). During the spring and summer you will find the Softball Team playing in the Manassas Church Softball League.  Additionally there are a number of Women's Circles and a Men's group that gather to pray and play together. If you are unsure as to whether a group is right for you, the best thing you can do is check out the upcoming events Attend a meeting; try it on and see if it fits.

  

 Second Saturday Group

The 2nd Saturday Group meets monthly on the second Saturday for a meal and fellowship together.  The group has grown a great deal over the past few years with many new members finding them to be a nice fit.  They say that they are mostly empty nesters but they do have a few younger people coming out also.

 Saving Our Sanity Group (S.O.S.)

The Saving Our Sanity Group meets each 5th Sunday to offer fellowship and support for parents with younger children. Past events have included cookouts, picnics, water parks, and pool parties.

Softball Team

The Greenwich sofball team is a co-ed, open aged team (minimum age to play is 15). participating in the Manassas Church Softball League (MCSL). The purpose of the Manassas Church Softball League is to provide an athletic program for the churches in Greater Manassas area with the following objectives:

• - To build Christian character through opportunities for cooperative supervised play.
• - To build a spirit of fellowship and cooperation among the players of various churches.
  
• - To introduce non-Christians to Christ through the recreational medium of softball.
