Youth Ministry

The vision of Greenwich Youth Ministry is to equip and encourage youth and their families to become disciples after God’s own heart. Our hope, prayer, & aim is that young adults from our community are marked by:

  • Faith in Jesus Christ in response to His good news,
  • Character Formation in obedience to God's calling & commands,
  • Growing Understanding of the Bible and an active Prayer Life,
  • Compassion for others and a Servant's Heart,
  • Genuine Community and Disciple-making relationships,
  • and Worship.

Through the teaching of scripture, outreach, fellowship, prayer, mission projects, mentoring relationships, and leadership opportunities, we seek to provide youth with an intentional community in which they can be challenged to grow in their relationship with Christ and to share his love with the world.

Youth Programs

Sunday School (9:45-10:45am) – Join us on Sunday mornings! Currently, our High school students are reading the book “Crash the Chatterbox” about confronting spiritual challenges and listening to God’s voice. Middle School is studying “God’s Big Story” this month, learning about God’s overarching plan for history and salvation and how they fit into His purposes. Remind your middle school students that there is a prize for anyone who has memorized the Scripture Memory Challenge for January & for anyone who brings their Bible to Sunday School!

Youth Group (Sunday Evenings) – Our middle school & high school youth groups meet several times a month for meals, worship together, fun activities, and learning together. See the schedule below for meeting dates and more information.

Special Events – Several times a semester we gather off-site for fun events, mission projects, and opportunities to learn and grow. Each summer, we participate in intensive mission experiences designed to be catalysts for faith formation, community building, and leadership training.
