Facility Planning Committee
Update - February 2008
Recent
FPC Highlights:
* Conducted architect interviews in early January. Three local architects interviewed with regard to project approach, a sample design, experience and budget.
* FPC unanimously recommended John Heltzel, AIA,

* The FPC introduced John Heltzel (architect) and Terry Smith (construction manager) at the February 10 congregational meeting. The floor was opened for questions on a variety of topics relating to the building project.
* Four civil engineering interviews are scheduled for
the week of March 10. The civil engineer will work with the FPC and

Easter, you can honor or remember someone special by placing an Easter Lily in
the Sanctuary. If you wish to participate, please fill out the form below

Talent Show —
Parents of Toddlers and Preschoolers (11:00 Service) — We are no longer bringing the children over to
the Sanctuary as a group, but encourage you to bring your child with you to the
church service to sit with your family through the children’s sermon.
After the children’s sermon, please walk with your child to the nursery and
sign them in to
SERVE — Our March
mission partner is SERVE. They will accept all items, but are in
particular need of the following items: cold cereal, spaghetti pasta,
spaghetti sauce, and canned meats such as tuna, chicken and spam.
Committee Night — Just a reminder that the
March committee meetings will take place on Tuesday, March 11th, at 7:00pm.
Farthest Corners Thai Dinner — Join us for our 2nd Annual Thai Dinner to benefit Farthest
Corners. Saturday, April 12th, at 6:00pm at the
30-Hour Famine — The
30-Hour Famine has been rescheduled for April 11-12th. Questions?
