Facility Planning Committee
Update - February 2008
Recent
FPC Highlights:
* Conducted architect interviews in early
January. Three local architects interviewed with regard to project
approach, a sample design, experience and budget.
* FPC unanimously recommended John Heltzel, AIA,
located in

Terry Smith (construction manager) at the February 10 congregational
meeting. The floor was opened for questions on a variety of topics
relating to the building project.
* Four civil engineering interviews are scheduled
for the week of March 10. The civil engineer will work with the FPC and
architect to develop a site plan and prepare the

youth are preparing Easter Baskets for those in our congregation who are not
always able to make it to church services. We will prepare 15
baskets. If you would like to donate items for these baskets, you can
drop them off in the office before Sunday, March 16th.

Talent Show —
Parents of Toddlers and Preschoolers (11:00 Service)
— We are no longer bringing the children over to the Sanctuary as a
group, but encourage you to bring your child with you to the church service to
sit with your family through the children’s sermon. After the children’s
sermon, please walk with your child to the nursery and sign them in to
Youth Group — We’ll be meeting in the choir room this
Sunday at 6:00pm.
Special Music —This
Sunday we welcome soprano Angela Knight to our 11:00 service.
SERVE — Our March
mission partner is SERVE. They will accept all items, but are in
