Nursery
Coordinator
We are seeking an
experienced infant & toddler caregiver for the
nursery.
This position is
part-time.
(up to 12 hours per
week)
The
Nursery Coordinator is responsible for oversight of the nursery ministry.
This includes recruitment, scheduling and training of nursery attendants,
ordering of supplies, upkeep of equipment and facilities, as well as providing
support to participating families.
Good
communication and organizational skills required. Resumes can be turned

Opportunities
for Study, Service and Fellowship
Celebration
of the Lord’s Supper –We
will celebrate the sacrament of the Lord’s Supper this Sunday at the 8:15, 9:30
and 11:00 services.

Jr. Church Sunday— Parents,
please note that there will be no Jr. Church on Sunday so that families can
share in the celebration of communion together. We will resume Jr. Church
on Sunday, February 11th.
Sweetheart
Dinner — The annual Men of the
Church “Sweetheart Dinner” is fast approaching! This years dinner will be
held on Saturday, February 17 at 6:00pm at the Vint Hill Inn. Please RSVP
by Tuesday, February 13th, to
Annual
Congregational Meeting
- The Session has called our annual winter congregational meeting to be
Sunday, February 11th, at 6:00pm in Fellowship Hall. The purpose of the
meeting is to receive annual reports from our ministry areas, to approve
recommended changes to Pastor’s terms of call, and to provide a time of open
conversation on church life (see insert).

30-Hour
Famine — 30-Hour Famine is an
international youth movement to fight hunger. Interested Junior/Senior
Highs can participate in
Pictorial
Directory — We need your help! We have several
draft copies of the pictorial directory in the sanctuary and Fellowship
Hall. Please look at your picture and directory listing and let us know if
they are not correct. If you’d like to submit a photo or have a picture
taken, please contact the office at
Youth
Superbowl Sunday —
Join us Sunday! Senior Highs will watch the game at the McMillan’s from
6:00 to 8:30pm. The Junior Highs will be at the Cooper’s from 6:00 to

Preschool
Registration — The
preschool has begun registration for the 2007-2008 school year. The
preschool accepts three and four year olds. Anyone interested, please
contact Marian Rood at 703.754.7933.
Circle
2 — Will meet Thursday
evening at 7:00pm at the home of Krista Meeks. If you have not joined a
ladies circle and are interested in information about Circle 2, please call
Becky Whitelock at 540.347.7819. Visitors and new members are always
welcome!

Saturday Group — The 2nd
Saturday Group will not be meeting on Saturday, February 10th. We will
instead be joining with the church family to celebrate Sweetheart’s Day on
Saturday, February 17th. Please check your Sunday bulletins for
details! Our next meeting will be on March 10th. We will meet in
Fellowship Hall at 6:00pm for a “Spring Fling.”
February
Mission Collection —Sunday,
February 11th, we’ll be collecting for the Fauquier Family Shelter. Items
requested include breakfast cereal, rice side dishes (like Rice-a-Roni), and
healthy kids snacks (fruit cups, pudding, raisins).
Celebrate
Scout Sunday -
Sunday, February 11th, we honor all Boy Scouts, Cub Scouts and Scout Leaders. A
Scout is reverent. He is faithful in his religious duties and respects the
convictions of others in matters of custom and religion. All Scouts
and Scout Leaders are encouraged to wear their uniform to church on this day to
celebrate scouting in
