Nursery Coordinator

 

We are seeking an experienced infant & toddler caregiver for the nursery.

 

This position is part-time.

(up to 12 hours per week)

 

The Nursery Coordinator is responsible for oversight of the nursery ministry.  This includes recruitment, scheduling and training of nursery attendants, ordering of supplies, upkeep of equipment and facilities, as well as providing support to participating families.

 

 Good communication and organizational skills required.  Resumes can be turned into the church office or emailed to mduffus@greenwichpres.org.  Deadline for applications is February 11th.

 

 

Opportunities for Study, Service and Fellowship

 

Faith Village Chorale —We rehearse every Sunday at 9:00am in the choir room.  Faith Village Chorale is open to all children K-5.  We welcome all new singers!  We are now rehearsing for our next performance on Sunday, February 4th, at the 11:00am service!

 

Women’s Winter Tea — ALL women of Greenwich are invited to gather together!  This year’s tea is this Sunday from 3:00 to 5:00pm.   Please bring something handmade that you have saved.  Tell us why this item is so significant in your life.  You will have one minute to tell us your story.  Also, please bring your tea cup so we may fill it with the warmth of fellowship. Sweetheart Dinner — The annual Men of the Church “Sweetheart Dinner” is fast approaching!  This years dinner will be held on Saturday, February 17 at 6:00pm at the Vint Hill Inn.  Please RSVP by Wednesday, February 14th, to mduffus@greenwichpres.org or 703.754.7933.

We ask all members and friends of the church family to prayerfully consider your support of the church’s ministry for 2007 as we prepare for Commitment Sunday on February 11th.

 

Annual Congregational Meeting -  The Session has called our annual winter congregational meeting to be Sunday, February 11th, at 6:00pm in Fellowship Hall.  The purpose of the meeting is to receive annual reports from our ministry areas, to approve recommended changes to Pastor’s terms of call, and to provide a time of open conversation on church life (see insert). 

 

Heartfelt Thanks from Kaki and Bill White — Words cannot convey what our hearts would like to say.  Your prayers and concerns during this period of our lives were a constant reminder that we were not alone.  It is a warm feeling to know your church family is there for you.  Thank you each and everyone.

 

30-Hour Famine — 30-Hour Famine is an international youth movement to fight hunger.  Interested Junior and Senior Highs can participate in Greenwich’s 30-Hour Famine event this year on February 23-24th.  For more information contact Chasity Spittle at youth@greenwichpres.org.

 

Preschool Registration — The preschool will begin registration for the 2007-2008 school year on February 1st.  The preschool accepts three and four year olds.  Anyone interested, please contact Marian Rood at 703.754.7933.
