Adult New Member Class—Sundays, February 19, 26 and March 5, from 6:00-8:00pm. The class is intended to be a time of discovery for those interested in learning more about the Christian faith, the distinctives of the Presbyterian tradition, and how to become more involved at Greenwich. Commitment Sunday - The Session has approved a $498,051 operating budget for 2006. Commitment Sunday is today, when as members and friends of the church we will prayerfully make our pledge to support the work of the church.

Women’s Weekly Bible Study – Friday mornings, 10:00-11:30am at the home of Trish Ruckle. The study is “I am with You Always, Experiencing God in Times of Need” by Chip Ingram on Jesus’ teaching in the New Testament. Please contact Trish at 703.753.0232 to register and request books and child care.
MARY”S FAMILY! Come to the Valentine’s Party!. On Saturday, February 11th Greenwich will again host Mary’s Family and this time the Social Hall will be transformed into a dance hall for their annual Valentine’s Day party. Lenten Devotional Booklet—The Worship Committee is developing a Lenten Devotional Guide available Ash Wednesday. We are asking the congregation to share a favorite devotional or inspirational message (include author), bible passage, or original composition, 5x7”. Submit to Becky Whitelock by Feb. 15 at orwhitelok@aol.com, mailed to Becky, or left in Worship Committee mailbox.

Annual Congregational Meeting - The Session has called our annual winter congregational meeting to be held Sunday, February 5, 2006 at 10:30 am in the sanctuary. The purpose of the meeting is to receive annual reports from our committees and ministry areas, to approve recommended changes to the Pastor’s compensation and to provide a brief informational time on upcoming events. Please plan to attend this meeting of the church family.

Friday & Saturday, February 24-25—GPC Youth are invited to participate with 9 other churches in a 30 Hour Famine. For 30 Hours, you will hang out with your friends old and new, play games, do mission, fight hunger by fasting, and help save a life with the $ you raise.
