This Advent Season, we invite you and your family to join Sunday evening for a time of food, fellowship, fun, and activity, as we prepare together to celebrate Christ’s birth. We will begin with a simple dinner at 5:30 p.m., and begin our program for the night at 6:00 p.m.  Please let us know if you will be able to join us.  This will help us to prepare enough supplies for each event.   Questions?  Contact Joy Yates at 703.754-7933 or gpcjoyyates@comcast.net.

Thank you for your prayers and wonderful support!

GPC Women’s Tea— Sunday, January 22, 2006 in the Fellowship Hall. Stay tuned for more information, or contact Lisa House or Leslie McMillan.

Ladies of Greenwich, Thank you so much for your wonderful response to the bake sale.  Your cookies made a great impact in missions.  Some went down to Mexico to reach out in love to the women there, some went to help the Fauquier Family Shelter's Christmas party be homey and cheerful, and some will be going to minister to our shut ins as they are carolled tonight at the last advent Christmas party.  At home and abroad the love from your kitchens is busy warming hearts.  Above and beyond that the ladies groups of Greenwich have now been given the gift of stewardship for the new year and for that we thank you.  Merry Christmas to all and may all your cookies taste great!

Book Club Registration starts Sunday!  If you are interested in joining our new book club starting January 13th with The Lion The Witch and The Wardrobe, contact Karen Blocker at 703-330-1303 mkb2travel@hotmail.com.  Space is limited so that discussions can be fun and profitable.  We will be meeting one Friday evening a month at the home of either Karen Blocker or Sharon Krasny from 6:30-8:30 p.m.  The book list for the semester starts with Narnia, The Hobbit, Tuck Everlasting, Eragon, and Mrs. Grisby and the Rats of NIMH.  You must read the books before the club and you must have a spot reserved
