Faith Village Shepherd Party—Sunday, June 19th 9:30am, we will have an appreciation party for the Sunday School Shepherds, children are welcome to bring a small token of appreciation for their shepherds.

VBS Donations are needed, please drop off egg cartons, and paper towel rolls at the church. We are in need of empty paper towel rolls, please bring one to church with you Sunday!

Welcome!!— We are pleased to welcome Joy Yates to the Greenwich church family as the newest member of our staff.  Joy will be working as our Director of Children’s Education.  Next time you call or stop by the church,  be sure to give Joy a warm Greenwich welcome!

Women’s Bible Study— All women are invited to a summer Bible Study led by Shamaine on Friday mornings from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the home of Trish Ruckle. Please bring a book or other suggestion for the group to consider studying for our first meeting on June 24^th. Child care is available, call the church office.

Church Picnic—Sunday, June 26!  12:30—2:00pm. Please bring a picnic side or dessert to share as we fellowship here on the beautiful church grounds.  If you want to drop off a dish in the kitchen someone will be there after 9:30am to help.

Give a Smile - On July 9^th our church will again host Mary’s Family, an organization which provide provides respite care for families with children and adolescents with disabilities.  Contact Charlie or Ben Coe at 703-393-9384 or Shamaine at 703.754.7933. It is your opportunity to give a smile to a child and some needed respite to a parent.

For All Musicians of GPC - We invite you to share your musical talents this summer during the months of July and August.  The choirs are on vacation so please consider taking their place one Sunday this summer.  Sign up sheet is on the bulletin board outside the office.

Heartfelt Thanks, and Blessings to Lynn Monroe!! — Today we honor Lynn for her 10 years of service as Chancel Choir Director with a reception at 12:15 in Fellowship Hall.  Lynn is stepping down to focus on her new teaching duties this  Fall. We thank Lynn, her husband Mark, and her children Scott & Deanna, for sharing the love of Christ in countless ways these past years. We will continue to enjoy Lynn’s fellowship at church, but say, “Well done, good and faithful servant!” 

Photos for the Directory - We will be taking family photos for a supplement to the church pictorial directory on Sundays June 26th and July 3, from the end of the first service to the end of  the third service in the social hall. Family Vacation Bible School runs Monday, June 20th through Friday, June 24^th for children 5th grade and younger.  Dinner will be available at 5:30 and VBS activities will begin at 6:30. The Waterhole is in the Fellowship Hall for VBS dinners, from June 20 -24. We’re asking everyone for loans of: 6’ artificial trees, and stuffed monkeys, zebras, giraffes or lions. Faith Village Workshop Rotation:  Faith Village is going on summer vacation until the fall and that all Villagers are encouraged to attend our special summer program taught be our new Dir. of Children's Ministry Joy Yates. Yea!

Mission Trip at Home On Saturday, July 9th, our church will again host “Mary’s Family”, an organization which provides respite care for families with children and adolescents with disabilities.
