Joy Yates, Director of Children’s Ministry

Background: Joy and her family have been members of Greenwich since 2000.  Joy grew up in the Presbyterian Church and has actively been involved in Christian Education for many years.

Education: A.A.S. in Veterinary Technology; Currently finishing my B.S. in Human Services

Vision for Ministry: Joy’s passion is to share the love of Jesus Christ with the children,  and show them how awesome it is to love God, to praise God and to serve God.

Relevant Verse: “’Let the children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belong to such as these.  I tell you the truth, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a child will never enter it.’  And he took the children in his arms, put his hand on them and blessed them.” Mark 10:14-16
